David Bowie's Blackstar Getting Repressed

The tragic news of David Bowie's death led to a surge in interest in his latest album, Blackstar, now expected to be repressed.

Banquet Records now says on their listing page that Blackstar will be repressed with availability in early February. This news syncs up with updated shipping information on Amazon, which now lists Blackstar as available to ship in 10-12 days.

There were two versions of Blackstar. The standard on black vinyl and a limited edition clear version exclusive to Barnes & Noble. The clear one was "limited" to 5,000 copies and sealed versions are now bidding on eBay for almost $450.

We don't know how many standard copies were originally pressed nor the size of the reissue.
